About Junk in the Trunk
Bozeman

At Junk in the Trunk Bozeman, clearing clutter is more than just hauling junk—it’s about helping neighbors reclaim their space, protect the environment, and give back to the community we love.

We’re a local, family-owned business proudly serving Bozeman, Gallatin County, and surrounding Montana communities. Founded by Lisa and Craig Gambrel, our mission is simple: make junk removal fast, affordable, and eco-friendly while treating every customer like family.

Our Story & Mission

When life gets overwhelming with clutter—whether it’s an old couch, a garage full of boxes, or construction debris—we step in to make the process stress-free. From the very beginning, our goal has been to provide reliable, transparent service that national franchises just can’t match.

By staying local, we keep costs down, deliver same-day or next-day service, and invest back into Gallatin County through local hiring and charitable giving. Every pickup is a chance to reduce landfill waste, donate usable goods, and leave customers with a cleaner, clearer space.

How We Work

Booking junk removal with us is simple:

Whether it’s a single appliance, a full estate cleanout, or construction debris, we handle the heavy lifting so you don’t have to.

Why Locals Trust Us

With over 195 five-star reviews, our reputation is built on honesty, reliability, and respect for our customers’ time and property. We’re fully licensed and insured, and because we’re family-owned—not a franchise—you’ll always deal directly with people who care.

Our promise:

Upfront, no-surprise pricing

Friendly, professional crews

Same-day or next-day availability

Money stays local

What We Remove

If it’s not hazardous, we’ll haul it:

Household clutter, furniture, and appliances

Yard waste, hot tubs, sheds, and heavy debris

Office furniture, electronics, and retail cleanouts

Construction and renovation debris

No job is too big, too small, or too unusual—if it fits in our truck, we’ll take it.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I started trimming a bush in my yard and quickly remembered why I don’t cut my own bangs after I found myself with a huge pile of branches and prickly vines. The crew showed up super quick, handled the mess I made, and even raked my lawn to make sure they didn’t miss anything. Great service. Will absolutely use again when I inevitably make a mess in the future. Thanks all :)

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Where to begin! The Most Important! I trust these guys! Their character has never faltered! Junk in the Trunk are real people and they really get it! They understand what needs to be done and aren’t afraid to get dirty! We have two ranches that have been in the family for generations! Anyone familiar with ranching knows RANCHING = a LOT of JUNK x’s 2 in our case! Decluttering has been overwhelming! Lisa & Craig gave great advice as to where to start and did a lot of hand holding throughout the process! I appreciate them and highly recommend them for YOUR removal needs!
